Winter Expectations During COVID-19

Last updated Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021
At Mount Washington Alpine Resort, we bring people together. The safety, health, and well-being of those who work and play here is our top priority. As the risk of the COVID-19 virus continues and we gear up for the 2021/22 season, our team is closely following all guidelines set forth by BC Provincial Health authorities and our partners within the ski industry.

As of this time, guests will not be required to provide Proof of Vaccination to recreate outdoors at Mount Washington during the 2021-22 winter season. However, as an organization, we do support everyone being vaccinated following the recommendations from BC Provincial Health. Considering the dangers of the COVID-19 pandemic, plus related Provincial Health Orders, guests are required to show Proof of Vaccination at sit-down dining establishments including Ted’s Bar & Grill and Eagle View Bistro. Similar guidelines apply to events and programs offering food and beverage. Masks are only required in all indoor settings for all people born in 2016 or earlier (5+). Please be courteous and show respect to your fellow adventurers while waiting in lift lines and loading chairlifts.

To further protect our guests and staff, all employees, volunteers, and contractors working at Mount Washington must provide Proof of Vaccination for the 2021-22 winter season. While the COVID-19 situation is fluid, we greatly appreciate everyone's cooperation following all Provincial Health Orders and encourage you to check this page for updates prior to your visit.

Mountain Closed - Opening Day Scheduled for Friday, December 10, 2021
Please stay off Mount Washington property until open. There are crews actively working with machinery as we prepare for winter operations. Please respect the closure, and remain off all trails, slopes and property. This includes areas outside around the base and Alpine Lodge.
